What a notice must include

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.

Identification of the material on Creator Battles you want removed, with a link.

Your contact details: name, address, telephone number and email.

A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Your physical or electronic signature.

How we handle notices

Complaints enter the moderation queue. We do not assume every claim is valid — a reviewer assesses each one and may ask for more information.

If we remove content we notify the uploader with the reason.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through Settings → Appeals or by email, including your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court.

Where the law provides for it, we may restore the material after the applicable waiting period unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers and misuse

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content are suspended or terminated.

Knowingly filing a false notice can carry legal liability.

These templates and application controls are designed to support legal and platform compliance but do not constitute legal advice. Creator Battles should have the final policies and business model reviewed by a qualified attorney before launch.
