Who we are

Creator Battles is operated by [not yet configured], [not yet configured]. Privacy questions: [not yet configured]. Data protection contact: [not yet configured].

This policy describes what the Creator Battles app and website actually collect and do with your information. It is written to match the product as built.

Account and profile information

When you create an account we store your email address and an authentication identifier. Passwords are never stored in readable form — authentication and password hashing are handled by our authentication provider.

Your profile stores the username, display name, biography, region, avatar image, creator category, follower and following counts, battle statistics, Battle Points, level, streak and badges you earn.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google to create or match your account.

Content you upload

Videos, thumbnails, avatar images, playlists and audio tracks you upload are stored in private cloud storage and served to viewers through time-limited links.

Comments, votes, likes, follows, battle entries, battle chat messages, tournament entries and playlist data are stored in our database and linked to your profile.

Payments, coins and payouts

We store subscription status, plan, trial start and end dates, renewal dates, platform (web, iOS or Android), store receipts and processor identifiers.

Coin purchases, coin balances, coin lots, gifts, battle contributions and wallet transactions are recorded in a permanent financial ledger.

For creator payouts we store your payout account connection status with our payment processor and payout amounts, dates and statuses. We never store raw card numbers or bank credentials — those are handled by the payment processor.

Safety, moderation and fraud records

Reports you submit or receive, moderation actions, appeals, copyright complaints, blocks, vote fraud flags, fraud reviews and staff audit logs are retained so enforcement and appeals are reviewable.

We record limited technical and behavioural signals — such as voting patterns, duplicate-account signals and timestamps — to detect vote manipulation, trial abuse, referral abuse and payment fraud.

Device, usage and diagnostic information

We record activity events (such as sessions and key in-app actions) to produce platform analytics and rankings.

Standard server logs, including IP address and device/browser information, are generated when you use the app. Client-side error reports may be captured to diagnose crashes.

We do not collect precise GPS location. Region is only what you enter on your profile.

Notifications and communications

In-app notifications for battles, votes, follows, moderation outcomes and payouts are stored with your account and can be tuned in Settings.

Support messages, feedback submissions, waitlist signups and privacy requests you send are stored so we can respond.

Why we use your information

To operate accounts, run battles and tournaments, count votes and compute rankings.

To process subscriptions, coin purchases and creator payouts, and to meet accounting and tax obligations.

To keep the platform safe: moderation, appeals, copyright handling and fraud prevention.

To improve the product through aggregate analytics and crash diagnostics.

To communicate with you about your account, purchases and reports.

Who we share it with

Service providers listed in the Third-Party Services Disclosure, each limited to what they need to perform their function.

Other users see what you publish: profile, videos, comments, battles, votes tallies (aggregated, not individual voter identity), rankings and badges.

Legal and safety recipients where required by law or to address an imminent risk of harm, as described in the Law Enforcement & Legal Requests Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

Retention periods are set out in the Data Retention & Deletion Policy. In short: account and content data lasts until you delete it; financial, moderation and legal records are kept longer where the law requires.

Your choices and rights

Edit or remove profile details, privacy preferences and notification settings at any time in Settings.

Delete your account yourself from Settings — no support ticket required.

Submit an access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, objection or consent-withdrawal request from Settings → Privacy requests. Requests are tracked with a status you can see.
